Some do. Arunachal Pradesh requires an Inner Line Permit, protected high-altitude routes in Sikkim such as Tsomgo and Nathula require permits, and Lakshadweep requires an entry permit. Where a permit or registration applies, the destination page says so under Permits & ID, and it is arranged as part of your plan.

Each destination page explains how to reach it by air, rail and road from Indian cities. Your proposal starts from your own city and chooses the gateway that gives the shortest practical journey for your dates, with transfers planned from that arrival point.
